March of the Penguins 2005 —

The footage of the Penguins is incredible.

They are 'cute' particularly since we get to watch them in a warm theater or at home and don't have to smell 'em either.

The narration superbly done in the English version by Morgan Freeman  also turns the animals into loveable Disney-esque characters which is a little too much of a stretch for me, particularly if you watch the fascinating not to be missed making of feature on the DVD. (The English narration script is by Jordan Roberts but I don't know how different it is from the original French one by Luc Jacquet)

Still this is a crowd pleasing, oscar winning animal lovers delight.

Why quibble.  I found the long making of the movie feature on the DVD  BETTER than the movie itself!!!
