This fragrance is very special to me...it reminds me of my husband (who is now gone) and our anniversary trips to Hawaii. It is a lovely, sensuous scent and not too strong for my taste...priced within reason...and a scent that can make me cry and smile at the lovely memories it invokes.

OK so I have been wearing Marc Jacobs perfumes for quite a while now. I own the original Marc Jacobs Gardenia scent, Marc Jacobs Daisy, and Marc Jacobs Lola. The original Marc Jacobs scent was my first in the series. I got it from my mom who bought it and then remembered she hates Gardenia. Well, I discovered that I lOVE gardenias! THis scent is classic, timeless, and long-lasting. It is not very subtle though- it is definitely a strong scent not meant for those without confidence! I have discovered that people either love it or hate it. For me, it is definitely an evening scent. I wear it out to dinner or for more formal events. Because it is such good quality this perfume bottle lasts forever. THe only downsides are that is smells like EVERY other gardenia scent out there (ex- Micheal Kors, Kim Kardashian etc). I wish Marc would come out with a new fragrance soon!

The Marc Jacobs Gardenia Fragrance is very strong. This is not a fragrance for everyone. I have tried it, but I did not like it enough to continue wearing it. First, this is a very strong gardenia perfume. It is very flowery and can be overwhelming. The strength of the Marc Jacobs Gardenia Fragrance cannot be under-emphasized. A small amount of this perfume can last for hours without any indication of fading away. I did like the bottle for the Marc Jacobs Gardenia Fragrance. It is a nice, small black bottle with a beautiful white gardenia on the side. It does look beautiful sitting on a table in your bedroom. I wish this perfume was not so strong. I found that even a small amount would last for hours and give some people around me headaches. Please be aware that this is a flower based perfume. Some people are sensitive to fragrances and may find this to be too strong for them. Also, it is an expensive product.

A coworked of mine recently gave me an opened bottle of this perfume that someone had given her and she didnt want anymore. I thanked her and went home with the rpoduct. The next day I spritzed not even sprayed but spritzed some on and I smelled like a 95 year woman. EWW this perfum reaked of the most horrid smell that would nto go away. My mom who was on the other side of the house yelled what is that foul odor? I could nto get rid of it for days, everywhere I went in my house I smelled that perfume, it gagged me. One would think the combination of a marc jacobs product along with the lovely smell of gardenias would be a perfect match, wrong! Marc Jacobs Gardenia Fragrance is a total FAIL unless you want to smell like a grandma and have a horrid odor in yuor home that even febreeze and oust could not overcome. i would absolutely not recomment Marc Jacobs Gardenia Fragrance to anyone, instead I would advise to save your money!

I love wearing floral scents and this is one of my favorites!  I have always enjoyed Marc Jacobs perfume and this has become one of my favorites! This scent reminds me of taking walks in California and admiring all the floral scents, especially the Gardenia. As soon as I would smell the Gardenia's it would put me in such a wonderful mood.  It is so invigorating in the morning to smell the gardenia scent and it puts a smile on my face.  The scent lasts long also.  Which for me it is hard to find a scent that lasts awhile.  Marc Jacobs perfume to me means quality.  I am a huge fan. This scent is not overpowering either.  My husband absolutely loves it also.  I believe it is his new favorite along with mine.  You won't be disappointed with this scent.  I actually find myself putting it on through out the day just for the aromatherapy.

Marc Jacobs Gardenia fragrance is wonderful! I got it as a gift for my birthday and was, at first, skeptical about how much I would like it.  When I used it for the first time I got so many compliments from everyone at work and school.  It was really one of the best perfumes out there nowadays.  Not only does it have a wonderful smell, it lasts very long.  I usually spray it on once in the mornings that it gets me through the whole day and does not require that I carry it around with me to keep using it over and over.  I am definitely going to buy another bottle when my current one runs out and will get one for all of my friends because I am sure that they will love it as well.  So, I would definitely recommend the product to anyone that is thinking of getting this perfume.  I am sure that you will not regret it and will enjoy it as much as I do.  Just be sure to use it in small portions so that the scent is not too overwhelming. And that way, it will last even longer!!

Marc Jacobs has always been one of my favorite designers whether it is his clothes, his hand bags or his fragrances. There isn't much wrong Jacobs can do in my book. Today he has yet another wonderful fragrance available for those who love to smell good. Jacobs perfume lets a woman feel secuire, happy, and even sexy. All you need is a dab here and a dab there, not like cheap or knock off brands where you have to spreay have the bottle to keep a scent on your body all day. Although Marc Jacobs can be pricey, it is worth each and every penny spent on it and because of the quaility you will find it will last you a lot longer than store brand types like knock off sprays. I highly recommend you to go and smell this perfume and then perhaps buy it. Everyone loves a good smelling woman!

While I was growing up our neighboor had a gardenia bush and she had always let us pick a couple flowers off of it. The enchanting scent and pure white color made that my mother favorite flower as welll. My mother passed away a few years ago and when I wear this perfume it reminds me of her, This perfume was made from gardenia, wild muguet, cedar and spicy ginger, and is very light and fresh. The special black bottle with gardenia print is gorgeous but is made exclusively for sephora. Everything about the Marc Jacobs Gardenia perfume is top quality. The smell is irresistable, the price is reasonable and the packagin is desirable. This scent would be a good scent for day or night.Marc Jacobs EDP is a beautiful, classy, feminine, flowy, and a bit aquatic of a gardenia scent. I heard that Marc Jacobs wanted this perfume to smell like a bunch of fresh gardenia's in a bowl of water. Let me tell ya, that is EXACTLY what he got. It isn't your usual heavy, heady, and cloying gardenia scent. It's soft, light, and smells so feminine. It has a slight musky undertone, which makes this a clean gardenia scent. I will definitely recommend this scent to friends, neighbors, coleagues and maybe even some strangers.
