Manhasset is a name that is known throughout the industry for high quality music stands.  It seems that more schools use this brand than any other.  And this is my favorite of Manhasset's stands.  There are several reasons for this.  Manhasset makes a high quality, stable stand, and this is no exception.  The oversized desk allows you view even large sized scores.  I like the desk because it allows me to have several pieces of music on the stand and open at the same time.  Or I can look at the music as well as notes that I have written for myself.  The double lip allows me to keep pencils, clips, and all sorts of other things there...handy.  There is also a storage pocket behind the desk for even more music storage!
