With the pewter charm and raspberry-colored ribbon tied around the colorful box of bar soap, Mangiacotti Pomegranate is nice enough to give as a gift, leave in a guest bathroom, and even better to splurge on for yourself. The thick rectangular soap makes it a little unmanageable for me. It doesn't fit well in my hands, so it tends to be a little cumbersome when lathering on a wash cloth. I wonder if it wouldn't be a better idea for the company to make it a little bit smaller and lower the price accordingly. Scent Pomegranate and Papaya Fragrance - If you love either of these scents, you're definitely in for a treat with this combination. The suds are fragrant, but not cheap-smelling. However, even though you get a wonderful burst of scent in the shower, the fragrance doesn't hang around for very long. I've found that if I can help retain the scent by following my shower with a lotion like Midnight Pomegranate. The soap layers with other pomegranate-scented lotions beautifully.
