For those of you looking for a little elegance in the heart of sin city, this is a great destination spot.  The rooms are large and comfortable, and you will have a great view of either the strip or the lush pool area.  The downside is the price of the rooms which can be costly, but if you have a high budget, it is totally worth it.  I think they have the best pool area in vegas, because they have a man-made beach where you can actually surf in the middle of the desert.  There are other attractions on site too, my favorite being Shark Reef.  Take a stroll through this aquarium and come face to face with a variety of sharks, crocodiles and sea jellies.  If you are looking for a night out there are plenty of dining options including RumJungle which turns into a fantastic nightclub after hours, and House of Blues which has amazing music and food.  The hotel is also connected to Mandalay Place with great shopping and the Burger Bar which is a destination in its own because you can finally get the burger you have always dreamed of, catered to your liking.  I love the openess of the hotel and the elegant setting.  The location is right on the strip and a great getaway destination.
