Mandalay Bay - Las Vegas, NV Review

     Mandalay Bay is located at the far south end of the Las Vegas strip, which is personally my favorite part of the strip.  It is such a beautiful hotel, and you can see it from far away because it is so tall.  The first time I went to Mandalay Bay was about 5 years ago, it was the first time I had ever been to Las Vegas.  The one thing I noticed about Mandalay Bay that most casinos don't have, is how quiet the actual casino is.  Sometimes you walk into one of the casinos on the strip and you just want to leave because it is so loud.  Not Mandalay Bay.

     Mandalay Bay is absolutely georgeous.  I have to say that it is one of the most elegant hotels on the Las Vegas Strip.  If you are staying at Mandalay Bay, you have to check out the large wave pool.  Arrive early though, just because on hot days it can pack up quite quickly.  This pool is definately something for the whole family.  You have to be staying at the hotel to use the pool.

     Mandalay Bay also offers a whole hotel of suites.  All the rooms in this hotel are standard suites, and they do have a lot of room to roam around.  If shopping is your pleasure, they have tons of boutique stores in Mandalay Place.  My favorite store is the Chocolate Swan.  When we stayed out in Las Vegas to get married and ordered a cheesecake from there and it was so delicious.

     They have a huge gambling floor with one of the best selections of slot machines available.  Besides having a huge floor, they have some of the best cocktail waitress service around.  I was constantly asked if I wanted another drink.  Sometimes you can sit at a slot machine for hours before anyone approaches you.

I definately recommend that if you can afford to stay at Mandalay Bay, you do.  If not, you have to check it out because it is something that you will remember.
