  I saw Mamma Mia a couple weeks ago and was surprised how much I really enjoyed it.  ABBAs music was alway fun and mostly upbeat.   I wish I had seen the broadway play, and I dont really care for plays.   They made a cute, not intellectual but very cute move, while stringing a good many of Abbas songs in there. Meryl Streep was surprising as a musical and comedic actress and Christine Baranski was her normal acidically funny costar.  Who can resist Pierce in tights?  The ending was kind of expected but did put one small surprise at the end.  All in all if you want to smile, it is the movie this year to see
