Great for a Girld Night Out, Just leave the kids at home!

an infrequent movie goer, watching chick flicks, budget conscious, twenty something

Laugh out loud funny., SOOOOO much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cons

Harry kisses another man(I think), Has quite a few sex references., not to see with your young daughter, I heard some old ladies gasp at parts

    I had not heard about Mama Mia until I watched a not so favorable review on the news. But the clips looked so funny I called my mom up to go watch it.   It has to be the funniest movie I have seen in a long time!   Now I have not seen the musical so I was not sitting there trying to point out everything wrong with it.
   If you are looking for thatre quality voice talent you may be a little disappointed but they were pretty good and it made it more realistic that they were not perfect.   Again don't go to the movie looking for a good moral heart pulling story. This movie is about having fun, being yourself, anf just letting yourself go!
   The storyline is a little out there, a daughter discovers just before her wedding that her mother was not always the responsible one, and had been with three men within a short period of time when she got pregnant so she did not know who the father was. Now rather then going to Jerry Springer, the daughter decides to invite all three to her wedding and see which one her father is.   What happens is anything but mean spirited, the events that follow are comical and fantastic.   The movie is laugh after laugh and the music is still stuck in my head.
