THis is hands down my favorite restaurant to eat steaks and lobsters. The portions are "Flinstonian" in size and the test of the food is out of this world. I've only been to Mallorca one time and my experience was not wonderful, but not horrible either. I ordered the Prime Rib and was disappointed that it was over cooked and dry. The meals also took an extremely long time to arrive, but since we weren't on a time constriction it was okay. ...

My first experience with Mallorca was the best. I would return in a Pittsburgh minute ( or any minute for that matter) . We arrived on time for our 5:30 reservations on New Years Eve and taken promptly to our table. We got seated and they came to ask for our drink orders and explain what was on the menu that night. It just amazes me that with so many different dishes the wait staff can remember and recite them to the customers. Once our drink order was taken we decided what we wanted, except me of course...so many choices I had to ask about a few of them before making my decision.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Pittsburgh. They have an excellent menu, and the food is always very fresh. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. I recommend the paella. Never had dessert, never had room for any, so i cannot comment on that aspect of the meal. Parking is not hard to find if you don't mind the walk, there is a new garage at southside works.

Mallorca has excellent food, great atmosphere, oustanding service and they make a mean Sangria. This is a great place to take someone special or for a celebration.
