If you're new to garden lighting and want a trial run before you spend the big bucks, this set works great. It's a nice starter set, but I couldn't see it lasting for years and years. It does have lots of parts to put together, but for the price, I don't think it's a big deal. It does come with plenty of cord, and the replacement bulbs are inexpensive and easy to replace. A little on the flimsy side as far as durability...they can easily be knocked over by kids or the dog. If you're wanting lights for a high traffic area that can take wear and tear, then these aren't for you. However, it you want accent lighting in your landscaping, and don't have the dogs or kiddos tramping through your gardens, these work great.
