I first happened across this magazine online. I was fascinated by the projects being presented. The first item I read about was how to make an mp3 player in a mint tin. I am a the type of person who loves to know how things are put together and this magazine is like a great big chocolate bar for me.
I then saw the print version in my bookstore and I snapped it up along with it's sister publication Craft. This magazine is not one that you browse through once and thow on the pile or toss out. It's has a lot of very valuable information even if you don't plan to make some of the more complicated creations, such as the 3d sugar prototype machine.
There are projects that span from children to advanced adult minds, so don't think that this is just for tech heads. The online site expands on information in the magazine so you can refer to it for more instructions or patterns or even comments from other readers. There is even a Makestore where you can buy components for making some of the inventions or just fun t-shirts to wear.
I hope others find this magazine as exciting as I do. www.makezine.com
