I bought Mainstays home sheets at Walmart.  Fitted and flat full size sheets are not quite $6.00 each.  Granted, these aren't luxury sheets, but for the price they are really decent.  They are 200 thread count, 60% cotton/40% polyester blend and are machine washable and dryable.  They fit mattresses up to 14" deep.  And they don't feel like you're sleeping on sandpaper! They are described as Easy Care Fabric with Ring-Spun Softness. For those who only buy American made products however, these are made in Brazil.
