The Mainstays Super Soft Mattress Pad was not well made. I bought this particular type due to the price. I needed a mattress pad for my queen size mattress. While pricing some at the time they were a little pricey, so I went the cheaper route. Well I got what I paid for. As soon as I got home I put it on my mattress and right away it tore. It was just a little to small I believe. It did not fit well at all. The bottom portion just tore to easily. Sometimes you may need to pull an item tight and when you do, it should not tear or rip. Well this did. It tore in more than one place. I have bought Mainstays item before and can't really complain. I was really surprised at this item. I always try to buy cheap, but this just was poorly made. The bottom portion I think needs to be made of a different type of material, especially if you are using it on a bed where you will be tugging a little to get a good fit on the mattress. I bought cheap, I got cheap material.
