I have seen this all over the internet and it seemed like it was worth trying, especially with a 30 free trial. However, it just didn't work. First of all, it does not work unless the computer is on. That means your computer must be up and running 24 hours a day to have phone service. If the power goes out, no emergency phone. Maybe this is ok if you have good cell service. The big problem though is that even after upgrading my dsl service twice until I was at 1.5 meg service, I still could not get good call quality. It was broken up to the point that you could not understand a conversation. When I went to their online help with their live chat, all I was ever told was that they were doing upgrades and try again in a couple of days or a couple of hours. After about the third time of this, I figured this was the answer they give when they can't answer your question. The chat people seem like they are out of the country following a script and don't know very much. It is a great idea and I really wanted it to work, but it just didn't.
