MagicJack VOIP Service —

I've been using the MagicJack for several months now.  The quality has been inconsistent so I was about to just throw it out of the window...  then, I realized, the only time I have quality degradation problems is when I am dialed into a Goto Meeting conference call.  I believe the VOIP over VOIP leads to degradation of quality.

Since then, I have been using a conference # that isn't VOIP driven and have had no issues... I plug the MagicJack into the base of a Uniden cordless phone and can roam all over the house without a problem.

I am a little annoyed that I have to enter my user/pass frequently and the device is sometimes buggy, but overall, it has already paid for itself and I now know how to keep it working for me.  I would recommend it as a supplementary line to a cell phone due to some reliability concerns at critical times.
