soooooo cheap, couldn't be beat unless another is FREE

doesn't work in internet outage, doesn't work when computer is turned off, did not have number in my area

I ordered the MajicJack after seening it on my local news. At first it would cut in and out, I was disappointed, but later I found out it wasn't the VOIP. Not to my suprise it was my provider. I have DSL through Windstream ( the company that took over Sprint in my area). I have nothing but trouble with their phone and DSL service since the change. But back to MajicJack it is great and how can you beat 19.99 a year, it's a deal even if it does have a few snags. Also there were no numbers in North Carolina, but that was easily fixed by signing up with GrandCentral.com. I agree I don't like the fact that it can't be connected directly to my modem as with Vonage, but we just plug it in when we want to make long distance calls. It's worked great since Windstream has fixed some of their problems. I definately recommend I already have to all my friends and family.
