My wife and I got our microwave as a part of a wedding gift from my parents. We needed a new one because someone in the house halved a rice recipe but didn't half the time it took to cook it. Since that microwave was over-powered it started smoking and almost caught on fire. Our magic chef microwave is not as powerful as some others, but I think that is a good thing. It has power settings just like most other microwaves and all the one touch options to go along with it. The thing I like most about this product is it's size. It doesn't take up as much room as some other microwaves do. I've never really had to clean it much because I only use it for popcorn and re-heating. It has the turn table inside that alternates directions after each use. All in all, I'd have to say there is nothing spectacular about this microwave, it just does what I ask it do and nothing else. So far it hasn't let me down.
