This was a great buy for the amount of money spent. The Magic Chef 1100 Watt 1.3 Cubic Feet Microwave Oven MCD1311ST is completely stainless both inside and out. The control panel is very nicely organized and even has some feature usually only available on the more expensive microwave ovens. The buttons are very pressable. The light shines every time the door is opened. There are many options available for this machine--you can defrost by either time or weight and control how long your food will be in the oven by adding time or taking time. The feet at the bottom of the microwave help keep it steady when pushing buttons or opening the door. It's extremely easy to clean because you can just wipe it off with a towel and can be opened with the outside handle rather than pushing a button to get access to the inside. There really isn't anything to be disliked in this appliance.

When I was doing my shopping for my dorm room when I was going off to college, I was told to pack light and small. I figured this little Magic Chef Microwave Oven would be perfect for my dorm and my other roommates as well because it was only 1.3 cubic feet and I was recommended by the worker at BrandsMart that this was a strong product that should last me through all my years at college. Using this microwave turned out to be really reliable, powerful, and small enough to place anywhere in the room and at the same time being big enough to warm anything we needed. Overall, this is an awesome microwave that still continues to run and I do not regret buying it at all. Performance For such a small microwave it is really powerful because it keeps up with everything and it hasn't burned out or fluttered once on its ability to work. Settings/Features For such a small microwave, it came with some nice settings. I loved the fact that not only did it have digital touch but it auto-cook menus and it did a great job at defrosting poultry. Ease of Cleaning With it being so small, the cleaning up process was always easy and it rarely ever needed a clean because we would always place a cover over the food to prevent it from splattering the microwave. Ease of Use This was extremely easy to use because it had the digital touch future and other pre-programmed settings that prevented hassles. Durability As much as this is a small microwave, it is absolutely powerful and has maintained intact for many years now with no problems at all. I love the fact that it is not too loud either when in use. Design This is a simple little microwave that has a very neat and clean design.

The Magic Chef Microwave Oven is a good oven. It has 1100 Watt power so it does not take forever to warm up your food. The design looks fine. The stainless steel finish looks good and matches our current kitchen appliances set up in our kitchen. We got it at an average price, comparable to other microwaves at a time when we needed a new one. The settings that the microwave has are pretty standard. Honestly, I don't really use much of the settings. I just heat up food based on the minutes. Occasionally, I would use the popcorn microwave setting, but it of course varies with the different brands of popcorn, and I end up having to stand there to listen to the popcorn anyways, and add more time if needed or stop the microwave early even when using the popcorn button. Overall, this microwave is fine for most purposes. It might not have some cool technology, but I don't think it will disappoint anyone.

I've bought this microwave for my food business a few year ago, We were looking for a all stainless steel microwave. This microwave is All Stainless Steel, The outside in INSIDE! Our favorite thing is the fact that cleaning this microwave was very easy. We kept it clean by using a soapy damp wet towel and wiped it daily. Easily to maintain and sanitize because of the steel. Unlike other microwaves this one doesn't smell like food. It was very stylish. Because of it being stainless steel on the outside is easily to get dent. So be careful of where you put this microwave. Overall this microwave has been the best for our use, easy to clean, very easy to use, looks great in our kitchen. We even bought one for our home to use.

I am not a huge fan of this microwave. It looks nice but the stainless steel is hard to keep clean and shows every fingerprint and mark. It is not the most powerful microwave that is out there and it usually takes the full amount of time listed on packages to fully cook a product. The microwave does seem to be louder than other microwaves and seems to vibrate a bit harder as well which makes a rumbling noise in other rooms when it is being used. The keypad is easy to use and understand and has not caused any problems. The handle on the front is a nice addition as it makes opening the door easier than pushing a button to get it open. This microwave does what it is supposed to do but do not expect anything extra from it.

Not bad...not great either. It is a middle of the road wattage...a bit longer usually when you cook than the more powerful ones, but definitely more powerful than your typical 'dorm-sized' model. It is adequate for our uses, which are simple. We cook veggies, fruits, popcorn, bacon, eggs...standard fare...and it has been going for quite some time now (about 5 yrs, maybe?) and we (knock wood) have had zero issues with it. It has a 'pebbled' surface, to discourage fingerprints, which it does quite well, but the finish is more difficult to clean well. It isn't a deal breaker, but it IS something I will consider when making future purchases. We also got it for a very good price. yay! Performance We have never done anything complicated in it... Settings/Features We have had this for years, and still haven't explored all the features, because we are such boring micro-wavers. Ease of Cleaning Pebbled anti fingerprint finish kind of difficult to clean well. On the other side of it...it IS extremely resistant to prints!

Our original built-in microwave finally gave out and we needed to find a replacement that would fit in the space. After a lot of shopping around, we selected this model, based on the size of the unit. It was a great buy, besides being the right size, it cooks quickly and evenly, the controls are easy to use and it is fairly easy to clean. The only thing I dislike is that once in a while I hear a vibration, but I am not sure if it is the microwave or the installation.

I have had this Microwave for a couple months and it is probably one of the best I have used. The Controls are easy to understand and very straight forward. It always cooks evenly the rotating plate inside deffinately is nice I no longer have to stop the food half way and rotate it. Which is very convenient most of the itme iN just set it and walk away until I hear the beep. Unllke my last microwave the defrost works great> my old microwave ussed to cook the food half way while defrosting the defrost was just at way to high temps. The magic chef defrosts frozen meats evenly and fairly quickly the temps are easy to control y9ou can choose what % power you want to use my old microwave used to have just 3 settings low medium and high this you can go from 10% power all the way to 100% power. I think this was very reasonably priced and I would recommend it to a anyone who is tired of thier microwave ovcer cooking thier food and ruining meats whne defrosting. It is a deffinatyely best buy

We have had this Magic Chef Microwave now for a few years and can say that it has worked very well for us.  I love the quick buttons...pushing starts makes it automatically cook for 30 seconds, hitting it twice makes it go for 1 minute, etc.  The other settings seem to work great too...the popcorn setting doen't burn the popcorn or undercook it.  There are plenty of settings and power levels to handle all the things I microwave.  I find myself using the microwave a lot.  I head my baby food in the microwave on a lower power setting.  The outside of the microwave has stayed looking great.  The stainless interior always cleans to a shine.  We haven't had any technical problems with the microwave at all.  I would feel comfortable recommending it to anyone, although I'm not sure it's necessarily better than other microwaves.  I do no that it seems to have decent quality and durability and has worked great for our family.

I got my Magic Chhef with pizza oven for Christmas a couple years ago and I really love it!  The attached pizza oven makes it a truly multi purpose microwave oven.  Now I can ook a frozen or fresh pizza.  I can also re-warm a take out pizza and not have to heat up my big oven.  Pizza should not have a soft or soggy crust like you get with regular microwaves.  I can also reheat things in the pizza oven that I want to keep crispy. I also like the feature that allows me to just add 30 seconds of heating time without unnecessary programing.  The feature for defrosting is so simple.  All I have to do is put in the weight of the food.  I like the turntable because it helps with even cooking. Clean up is so easy.  All I need to do is put a container of water inside and bring it to a boil for five minutes.  The steam loosens any splatters inside and I can just  wipe them off with a paper towel.  Even the outside is easy to keep clean.
