Magic Bullet Review

I got my first Magic Bullet a few years ago. It was pretty handy for small blending jobs, like making fruit smoothies. I'm not expert chef so a small simple device like this was just what I needed. One day my mother-in-law borrowed it, Decided she would use it to chop up some nuts, long story short she returned it with the motor completely burned out. I do not know if it was the nuts themselves that were too tough a job for this little device, or if she had neglected the instructions and had it running for longer than the recommended minute, but I had to say so long to the magic bullet. She replaced it with a new device which I now use strictly for creating coarse mushes with fruits, vegetables, liquids, and the like. The color coded containers with mug-style handles that are included in the Magic Bullet set I have found to be pretty useful. I keep my purees right in the containers in which I have blended them. Overall a pretty good device, but I can tell you, nothing can replace a "real" blender. Once this one breaks, I probably won't be replacing it.
