If you're going to get a kitchen gadget, this is the one to get!

too busy to make beds, practical

I'm not into kitchen gadgets at all, but the Magic Bullet is a great kitchen gadget to have. I use it everyday to make my meal shakes. They make it nice and thick, which makes it very filling for me. And it is so practical, because I drink the shake right out of the cup I mixed it in and it washes very easily. I also make homemade salad dressing with it, which cuts costs and also cuts out the preservatives and other ingredients I don't want. It also makes a great fruit smoothie and frozen fruit sorbet-again you can drink/eat right out of the cup you mix it in. It also comes with a pitcher so you can make a larger amount, but I haven't had the need. It is also very easy to clean, just be careful when handling the blades. And also be careful-obey the directions to not keep it running for more than a minute at a time, which will burn out the engine. I usually mix for less than a minute, stop it and go for another few seconds. I love it and don't think I can do without it. A couple notes, if you buy it from the infomercial, you get a year's warranty, so if any part of the set breaks, they replace it for free, but you pay $5 for shipping. I wore out the engine once and had to get it replaced (because I didn't follow the directions!). I also find that if you don't put on the cap very tight, when you place the filled cup into the base, your liquids can leak while it's mixing, and that is not an easy mess to clean (and can ruin the machine). This also happened to me and they replaced the base for free (but I paid another $5 for shipping). My warranty has run out and if this product goes, I will probably invest in another, that's how much I love it.
