I needed something just for smoothies that I could leave out on the counter.  I tried frozen berries and followed all the instructions.  After 1 minute of shaking the thing the blueberries were still frozen and the strawberries never blended despite cutting them in quarters.  I tried mixing juice with ice and it was just as bad.  Don't waste your money.
