Magellan - Magellan Roadmate 1412 Review

My daughter has been begging for a GPS for months.  Since neither one of us has any sense of direction, I finally broke down and bought her one.  I bought the Magellan Roadmate 1412.  I have been able to use her GPS several times since I bought it and for someone who is somewhat technically challenged it is really easy to use.  It has lots of features.  I especially like the voice directions.  The Magellan Roadmate not only shows you a map with the directions but has a voice guiding you all the way.  I like the fact that the voice directions gives the street name as it is giving you the directions.  I also like the feature where if you are out of town you can put in a specific resturaunt and it will find several of them near you.  It will also locate and give directions to gas stations, hotels, motels, and hospitals, etc.  It has really been great having.  My daughter even uses it in town to fin quicker ways to get to the places she is going.  I like it so much I'm going to buy me one.
