I bought the Magellan - Maestro 3100 GPS Receiver for my husband as I was tired of us being lost and late arriving places.  Now we know exactly where we're going, and how long the 'expected' travel time will be.  I like the fact you can change voices (female for a man) and (male for a woman) and that it has maps for the U.S. and Canada. We have family in Canada and it is a godsend.  We like the day and night screen and ability to turn up the volume while driving due to traffic noise.  The suction cup gives us the ability to affix to the gas tank on our motorcycle as well and those were the worst trips we'd get lost on :-)  We still can't figure out how it knows all those routes; it must be magic!
