Magellan - Maestro 4250 GPS Device
I have had three Magellan Maestros of different models. I love this model. This is a larger screen that is easy to see if you need larger viewing. It has multiple settings to choose from. The touch screen is user friendly and takes you from one screen to another without hesitation. It comes with cords for house charging, car charging and one to plug in to a USB. It has a night display that is absolutely wonderful. The voice directions are loud enough to hear easily. I keep the radio down though or probably would not hear it easily. The voice directions have been accurate and warn...
review »Magellan - Maestro 4250 GPS Device
I am a directionally-challenged individual, unable to determine left from right without some forethought and cannot say with any certainly whether I am facing north or south at any given moment (I blame my mother's insufficient nurturing for this). And maps are so utterly useless to me that I'm quite certain they are intentionally written in a language only understandable by males of our species. It is for this reason that I daily worship the person who invented the GPS, and the Magellan Maestro 4250 has been a purchase I've yet to regret. Using the 4250 is logical and effortless, compared...
review »Magellan - Roadmate 2000 GPS Device
I bought this GPS to help me when I was a traveling saleswoman. Definitely MUCH better than online maps and directions printout! The GPS is easy to use and fits perfectly on my dashboard. It's big enough for me to properly see where I'm going, but not too big that it obstructs my view of the road.
The voice commands are great, it helps me pay more attention to when I should start getting back in the right lane on the highway before it's too late. The only thing is that at times, the voice commands and screen instructions do not match the actual map instruction. For example, I see the road highlighted...
review »Magellan - Maestro 4000 GPS Navigation System
Recently purchased the Maestro 4000 for a trip to Philadelphia from Boston. I considered other Magellellan products (3100, 4040) and other brands but liked the screen size, AAA database and price ($335 when purchased, now down to $299). Overall the product worked very well.
Navigating the menus is relatively easy, Magellan keeps your options simple, Entering an address, looking up a AAA Point of Interest, setting or canceling a route is a matter of point, listen, click. In fact my wife, not a gadget gal, found it easy to locate tourist sites in Philly without any help.
I found the system to be...
Magellan - Maestro 3200 Car GPS Receiver
This product was great when it worked, but sometimes it wouldn't load, or couldn't connect to a signal, and it was a bit clunky for in the car.
