Madam Mam's is hands down the best Thai in Austin, TX. When a friend of mine and I returned from 3 weeks in Thailand we started missing the fantastic Thai cuisine in no time. Luckily, we had Madam Mams to enjoy. The first week back we took a break, but the following week we were in twice. After that, it became a month-long Mam-fest. Each time we tried a different dish and each time we were blown away. From the spring rolls to the soups (guay teaw tom yum gai and guay teaw yum mo are the best) to the pad thai and the guay teaw kua gai, everything we tried seemed better than the last. The location on Westgate is bright and decorated in a fun, eclectic way and has always offered efficient, if somewhat impersonal service. Don't expect to become best friends with your waitperson, and you should have an enjoyable experience.
