Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa Review

Madagascar 2 wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible either. There were some very funny parts, but there were also parts that dragged during which my daughter got restless. It looks even worse when you compare it to some of the other animated films to come out this year such as Kung Fu Panda and Wall-E which were both excellent. It's worth renting on video if your family enjoyed the first one, but it may not warrant a purchase. If you do purchase it, make sure that you get the version that comes with the extra penguins feature as that looks like it may be better than the movie and will be an upcoming series on Nickelodeon.
