Beautiful Guitar

Comments about Mad Catz - Xbox 360 Official Rock Band Wireless Fender Wooden Stratocaster Replica:

I really like the Rock Band games, so a good Guitar peripheral is very important. While at first, the Guitar Hero guitars were my favorite, the Stratocaster guitars have really grown on me. They seem to be more realistic than the Guitar Hero guitars, and have a few features not on the Guitar Hero guitars. The Stratocasters also seem to be more durable and last longer than do their counterparts. The Stratocasters come with a switch that when used on Rock Band allow you to customize your sound with different effects while you play, and generally be annoying. I can't tell you how many times have I have run into these sound effects while playing online and hearing them and being annoyed. So it goes without saying that this is a feature that I do not like, though it may come down to personal taste. The guitar is a good package in all and a good buy at a decent price, so don't be afraid to check it out!

Awesome guitar...but you probably shouldn't buy it.

Comments about Mad Catz - Xbox 360 Official Rock Band Wireless Fender Wooden Stratocaster Replica:

The Mad Catz Fender Stratocaster replica is more or less a real guitar. Just that it's been turned in to a Rock Band (other perhaps other games as well) controller. It feels like a real guitar. Especially the weight of it. The frets feel amazing, and they're very quiet. I do have a problem with the strum-bar though. It clicks every time you strum, which fans of Guitar Hero guitars will most likely approve of. However I have always hated this. I don't want to hear my guitar making fake guitar sounds...I want to hear whatever music I'm jamming to. Batteries seem to last forever in this thing, which is great for anyone who doesn't use rechargable batteries. I really don't have much negative to say about it, other than that price. It is quite expensive. Especially now with the Pro guitars for Rock Band 3, this just isn't very justifiable. You can get a Pro guitar, or this one. If you ask me, that's kind of a no-brainer.
