Maclaren Volo Silver - Umbrella Stroller Review

Wow, what a difference it made when I first bought the Maclaren Volo.  I had been searching for a lighweight umbrella stroller for awhile after my old stroller got too old to use.  I was hesitant to pay so much for "just an umbrella stroller", but when I gave it a test drive, it rode so much smoother than my old Graco umbrella stroller.  My wrists were not sore anymore.  I could turn corners and maneuver through malls with great ease.  I was in stroller heaven.  The Maclaren Volo is extremely lightweight made out of alloy aluminum and engineered well.  It took me awhile to figure out how to fold it down, but when you do, it is very compact-very good quality for overstuffed trunks and minivans!  The Maclaren Volo served me well when I had to travel via airplane and had to take my child on and off through different check points.    It also has a generous umbrella which protects against UV rays and the elements.  The fabric is actually made of material made to protect against harmful rays.  In terms of space in the basket, I would say its average.  There is no cup holder or tray.  I purchased an additional mesh storage attachment which can hold water bottles or sippy cups, some keys and additional items for about $20 shipped.  With this additional storage item, I find that I have sufficient storage.  Overall, I am very happy with the Volo.
