The Maclaren Quest Stroller is a great stroller! We did a lot of research before buying this stroller. We compared several of the other higher-end stroller brands (Peg Perego, Bumbleride, Bugaboo) and realized this would be the best value for us. The things we considered when making a decisions included: portability (I didn't want to struggle with a giant stroller that weighed almost as much as I do when loading/unloading it into the car); length of time our child could use it (I couldn't see spending a few hundred dollars on something that wouldn't last more than several months); safety (need I say more?); appearance (I don't like the look of some of the European strollers out there right now; they look like those carts you rent at the airport to lug your bags around); and value (okay, I seriously cannot afford $700 on a stroller). We found that the Maclaran fits our needs best. A bonus: I love the look of this stroller. We have taken it on dirt trails at state parks (even though it's not advertised as this kind of stroller, it's all we had and it did just fine) and bike paths. You feel the sturdiness of it when you use it. It has a padded headrest, plenty of room for storage, and a clear cover that keeps the rain off. The wheels turn quickly and don't get twisted around like some of the others we tested. The colors are stylish and the fabric feels very durable. And it folds easily, doesn't weigh so much that I need to start working out to lift it. Overall we're very satisfied with the Quest stroller. The only thing I would change is that it doesn't have a cup-holder. But seriously, safety and quality is more important to us than a cup-holder, so it's not enough to stop us from buying. Plus there are lots of pockets for bottled water (or soda!) so it's not a biggie.
