Apple MacBook Pro Review

I'm going off to college in the fall, and I needed a good laptop that would last me for four years. I'm also the kind of person that dislikes laptops because of the way they feel when typing. As I was searching for laptops, they all reminded me of why I disliked laptops, until I found the Apple MacBook Pro Notebook.

The Apple MacBook Pro Notebook, along with the other MacBooks, feel differently than most laptops. For one, their keyboard is more level with the "hand rest" than most laptops. With most laptops, the keyboard is slightly lower than the place where you'll rest your hands/arms when typing. But not the MacBook Pro. Also, Apple's MacBooks are lightweight and extremely thin.

Being a PC user my entire life, I was extremely worried about the transition from Microsoft Windows and Internet Explorer to Mac OSX and Safari. But here's the truth: it's an easy transition. I find that Mac OSX is much easier to use than Microsoft Windows. I know more about my laptop in a month than I knew about my PC in years! If you can't find help through the help menu, there's always support on apple.com and in the Apple Store. Safari is very fast, much faster than Internet Explorer ever was. Turning on the laptop is very fast as well. I used to wait 5 minutes for my PC to turn on; now with my MacBook, it turns on (and is ready to be used) within a minute.

Another plus about the MacBook series is how much comes with the laptop. iTunes is already pre-installed, and it checks for updates for iTunes and your iPod's software automatically, so you never have to worry about being out-of-date. The MacBook is also equipped with iMovie, Garage Band, iCal, an Address Book, iChat, PhotoBooth, and much more. All of these features are easily to find and easy to use.

All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase of the MacBook Pro. I would recommend it to people of all ages. It's definitely worth the money!!
