I don't experience many physical ailments and because of this, it is rare that I reach for any type of over the counter medicine. But when I do feel the need for some assisted relief, it is usually antacid that calls my name. You don't need to dig them out with a toothpick- your natural saliva will dissolve away the last remaining bits and send them to your stomach. I usually need to take two of these tablets in order to neutralize my stomach acid so I can continue about my day or get back to sleep. They attack the stomach acid in minutes, allowing stubborn individuals like me an excuse to help themselves to the spicy salsa or the peppery Thai food without any worries.

I eat well for the most part, but don't always eat as well as I should. And those times is when I end up paying for what I've eaten but really bad heartburn and bad cramping gas. I do not get these often so I tend to forget about using this antacid. I keep a bottle of this Maalox ANtacid and Antigas Maximum Strength Assorted Tablets in my cupboard at home. I seem to always do this to myself, but I sit there and suffer for a bit before I remember I have that bottle sitting there. I then right away go and take a few of the tablets and eat them. I think they taste rather good, other than the chalkiness of it, but that's to be expected with any of these tablets. They are easy to chew, easy on the taste pallet and I would say that it start to really relieve the heartburn within five to ten minutes and in about another few minutes I notice that the cramping gas pains are gone and I'm feeling back to normal and myself again.
