MTX - THUNDER 5512-12" Subwoofer Review

I went out bought myself a new stereo, crossovers and rear speakers. Come away happy but one day noticed that something was missing. A couple weeks earlier, the rep at Car Stereo City told me that I was all set that the only that was missing that would put it together is a pair of 12" subs. That day, when I felt something was missing, I agreed. So I went back to see him, he said the right subs for my kind of listening would be the MTX Thunder 5500's. I went with a couple of 12"s for my car.

I think the subs are great. They added that missing touch to the overall sound I was apparently craving. I bought that and the 2 channel Phoenix Gold "Rival" amp. Together, the two produce, a crisp, powerful (but not overkill) thump.

If I had to go out and do it again. I would re buy these subs.
