I bought this laptop last year for my little sister who is currently going to college for her everyday use.  It's been great so far without any problems.  The only blemish/weakness I can think of is the battery life of this laptop, it only last around 3 hours after a full charge.  I would advise to get a spare battery for this laptop if you are planning to buy it or just replace to a more powerful one as your main battery if you are planning to use this away from an electric outlet for a long while.  Other than this problem, the whole laptop is very good in terms of price-to-performance ratio.  With this budget, it's hard to find a similar setup in this price range.  The video quality is great without any stutter doing most daily chores.  Also, the processing power of the cpu and memory are both great to be able to handle most of everyday jobs we are doing.  Even could play video games that don't require a brand new videeo card, this laptop can do it all.  I recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a budget yet powerful laptop.

My husband started working for a company that he pretty much had to work from home everyday. They did not supply him with a laptop at first so he felt like he should purchase one since using our home one would be a pain. He didn't want to spend alot since he was sure they were going to supply a laptop soon so he looked into the MSI A6000-029US and was a little skeptical at first becuase of the brand name as he had never heard about it before.  We used this laptop for several months before with no problems. We had a virus issue and it ended up deleting some of the necessary programs we needed to run the system successfully so we sent it back overnight to the company and they sent us a new computer. It was within a few weeks time and was perfect when we got it back. The only complaint we had about this was the charger doesn't always fit in easily its lose and sometimes it didn't hold a charge because it wasn't connecting properly, however the company sent us a new one at no charge and it was perfect.

This was my first time purchasing an MSI Laptop. I was somewhat skeptical, as this was not a main name brand, so I was unsure of the quality. Wow! was I mistaking..this MSI Laptop was a great purchase. Coming pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium, it has all the tools and features you could wish for in a basic laptop. The built in web cam shoots perfect quality graphics and video, easily allowing the user to publish them to the web. The web cam tool also comes with a graphic editor to modify images that were taken. The graphics card and wireless N capability allows for on the go connectivity. The widescreen monitor is perfect for watching any DVD or online streaming movie, as the sound quality is not too bad at all for a laptop. MSI also provides a great warranty (not that I have had to use it yet :D ) and seems to be a reputable company. If you are looking for an excellent laptop, look past the brand name and choose MSI.

My model is actually the A 6200 with the Intel i5 processor. This is the most bang for the buck of any laptop I have ever had. The chiclet style keyboard is great once you get used to it. This laptop performs flawlessly even with multiple programs open and running as well as how ever many Internet pages you would like to open at one time. I actually installed windows 7 64 bit on the laptop to replace the 32 bit windows 7 that came standard. Overall I highly recommend this product.

I just bought this laptop a week ago and already I have to say that this is the best laptop I have ever used. I love new technology, and this laptop has it all. The latest OS, Windows 7. The best internet connection, the best graphics card, new DDR3 RAM, and much more.  My old laptop was newer, Windows Vista, and some of the options that make a laptop great for me, but my new MSi laptop has it all. I love Windows 7 as well. I was able to run every program that I had on my old laptop, plus some that I wasn't able to run because Vista was too slow.  I also love that it came with some software that allows me to monitor my families internet useage. I did not know that there were some programs that could monitor and filter what my 6 year old was able to access, and I am glad to know that it works a lot better than simply using the firewall settings of past OS functions. I would recommend this laptop to anyone who is looking for a new computer.

Honestly, I was taken in by the price and that it sports a large screen.  As I looked at it further, I was inthralled to see that there was a '10 key' pad integrated directly to the 'flat' keyboard. It also has an intergrated webcam and mic which take very decent video images in or out of chat. The webcam along with the 'wi-fi' controls and economical power settings are all at your fingertips located above the keyboard.  You will also notice that there are two types of intergrated card slots as well as 3 USB slots; two in the back and one to the front for easy connectivity.  For you HIGH graphic users, this laptop also boasts an HDMI port on the back as well.  Once I got it home, I noticed that the excelleration and speed of the large amount of pre installed ram was fast and doesn't choke on any level of programs that the user would possibly like to install.The only drawback with the design is that the speakers are located underneath the main deck, which does cause some issues with listening to things while the laptop is actually IN your lap. Plus, the mouse touchpad is enabled with a gestures program which causes issues when typing, but if you keep your wrists off the deck, you are fine. MSI is not a new company.  They have been placing their hardware in high end PC's for years.  Check any PC and you will probably find something MSI in them.  They are familiar with the wants and needs of consumers and users alike and are finally taking the step out to make a fantastic computer on their own.  I have had my laptop for a few months now, and still no issues with any actual parts of the PC, and I would trust this company for any future buys, computer or otherwise.

I have to say that I was not that sure of the MSI but I let my husband talk me into it. What a great decision it does everything that I need it to and more. It can handle all the pictures that I load, and the photo software that I have loaded -  WOW I am quite impressed. I can also play all the games that I want on my fb page and not even have to worry about the drag. Just love it.

I first got this laptop as a gift from my uncle back in California. I already had a desktop and this was my very first own laptop that I can have for myself. I use it everyday to check email, suft the web, go on forums and watch tv. I download many dramas and television shows and I do admit that I love this laptop to death. Without this laptop I don't know how I can survive. It's convienent and easy to use and it's accessible. I can bring it anywhere because it's the perfect size to fit on your lap and for you to handle. It's not that heavy too. I'm a drama addict, so I go online everyday to watch movies or download movies. To my surprise, this laptop didn't die down or anything because I've been downloading many movies these days. It never froze or anything like that and the speed is okay if you're not playing games. It's great for streaming the web and checking email. You can use it for basic everyday things. I would recommend it to people.
