Most HelpfulWhen I bought my home, it had been completely renovated from a foreclosure auction, so all of the appliances inside came brand-new. The only thing I had to buy was a refrigerator and washing machine. Since I didn't have to shop for a kitchen faucet, I don't know how Moen Kitchen Faucets compare...

Most HelpfulAbout 5 years ago we did some renovations including getting a new kitchen faucet. We were not redoing our kitchen so we went with one of the least expensive Moen faucets. It is a series 7400. I'm guessing that we paid about $125.00 for it at Home Depot. I still have the paperwork and am told that my...
review »We had a Torrance (white, single handled pullout) for many years. After hard water for the first half of it's life took its toll, I began to replace parts. Then the complete centre NPT connection disintegrated. I went out and bought a new Renzo style in brushed nickel. I then called Moen for some reason to ask about future warranty of the new unit and they sent me the exact same new Renzo (that I had bought) to replace the old Torrance model that had paid for itself long ago. Now that's customer service. I took my Renzo back for a refund. Thank you Moen. There will never be need to shop elsewhere...
review »I wish I could sing the praises of the Moen Kitchen Faucet - Model 7400, but alas, there aren't that many praises to sing. It's a completely utilitarian model with a traditional profile and no extra bells and whistles. In short, nothing to write home - or a praise-filled review - about.
Still, on the plus side, the Moen Kitchen Faucet #7400 is:
On the minus side, the Moen Kitchen Faucet Model 7400:
We recently replaced our old kitchen faucet with a Moen one-handle faucet (model CA87008 in brushed nickel). We selected it because of the high arc faucet and the single lever, which I prefer because I usually have messy hands at the sink and I find it easier to turn a single lever faucet on with the back of a floured hand (rather than two separate hot-cold handles). It also has a sprayer and a liquid soap dispenser. The overall look goes well with my traditional/cottage look.
The box was well packed and contained many parts, but assembly was not overly complicated. My husband is not a plumber...
review »This Moen kitchen faucet is really amazing. I have always loved the faucets that had the sprayer on the side for rinsing off larger bake-ware without flooding the counter-tops.but cleaning around the two was not always fun they would get that slime around the base of the sprayer and only came in black, not always attractive and often the nozzles would turn white after a long life. And my least favorite the water would still come out of the faucet and the hose, making it hard to water my plants, seeing i still had to leave the head of the faucet in the sink to avoid yet another counter flood.Yes...
review »When we purchased our new faucet, about 8 years ago, we researched our choices. We wanted to buy a quality product that functioned perfectly for us. We didn't realize when we bought the Moen faucet that the company was as important as the product.
After about 4 years we noticed a slight leak in the faucet. A 5 minute call to the company and 2 days later, we had an easy to change cartridge delivered free to our door. Easy directions and customer service help if we needed it.
This year, we had a leak again, and a simple call to the company provided the same remedy. After we had a little...
review »My husband and I had our house built ten years ago and at that time could not afford to upgrade any of the faucets. The faucets installed were actually pretty nice although I wanted one that had the pull-out feature so that I could spray the dishes before loading them in the dishwasher. The faucet was also white to match our sink but I really wanted a polished nickle one as the kitchen's decor is contemporary.
This year, 10 years after moving into our home, our builder-grade faucet broke. I was so excited to shop around to find a faucet that would pull out but also look sleek. I was thrilled to...
review »My family and I first moved into our home a little over 13 years ago. As is typical with any "new" homeowner, there were a bunch of things on our "to do" list, which we wished to accomplish in order to make our home feel more like ours. One of the important things on my list was to replace the cheap, old kitchen faucet with a more durable one.
There were two main criterion for purchasing our faucet:
1) It had to have a real curve at the top, to help keep the child(ren) being bathed in our deep, double sink from whacking into the thing while playing and possibly hurting themselves, and;
2)...
review »When we purchased our home, I was impressed that it had this great Moen faucet in the kitchen and marveled at home beautiful it was. However it soon began falling apart. The bottom base part comes undone, so when you turn the faucent on and off, the circular base spins and doesn't allow you to fully turn off the water without messing with the base. Not a great quality faucet, in my opinion. We will be switching it out soon for one that will last a little longer and not cause me so much grief in the kitchen when tryiing to cook.
Moen would be my first choice in kitchen and bathroom sinks. They very reliable, incredibly durable and can last a long time.
I really like their beautiful stainless steel. It is attractive addition to my decor. It is a snap to clean. One quick wipe and it is good to go for the day. It also cleans up nicely with Comet, Ajax or Bar-keepers on those weekly more thorough cleaning sprees. My sink has an elegant spout that goes high with a nice curve to the neck. This makes it easy to fit my biggest pots underneath for filling or washing. My has just one handle for turing the...
review »After moving into our house 13 years ago, it wasn't long before the faucet started to leak. I went out to my local hardware store in search for a new one. The selection then was much. I didn't want anything fancy just functional. I knew that Moen has been around for a while and I liked their particular style. It was just what I was looking for!
The installation was easy and relatively painless! The only problem I had was trying to squeeze under the kitchen counter! The instructions were easy to understand and follow. It didn't take long to install, under an hour.
Moen is a name...
review »We purchased the one handle Moen faucet with sprayer for our utility sink. It is great to be able to spray down the sink after cleaning. We've had no problems at all with this faucet. I have a similar one in the kitchen that we've had for over 7 years without any problems. We love this trouble free brand. I would highly recommend this to any of my friends for use in the kitchen or for their utility sink. It is so easy to just touch the top of the sprayer to change from full stream water to the spraying mode. Then just another simple touch on the top to reverse back to your original...
review »I have this Moen kitchen faucet,,,,,I just got it last year and I couldn't be happier with it!!
It makes my kitchen look so new and updated and I love that it is a higher faucet, because it is easier to rinse off fruits, vegetables, and pasta in a colonder!!
I highly reccomend the Moen Kitchen Faucet if you are in the market for a new faucet!!
I also love e sprayer on it,,,,so great when you are rinsing something delicate,,,,,
The Moen kitchen faucet is also very easy to clean as it has very little groves on it,,my old one had so many delicate pieces on it and it was very hard to get into all the...
