I used to own a 2006 Mini Cooper but sold it in December 2007 because it just was not a practical car for a one-car household. Minis don't have much room so if you need to go to the airport with loads of luggage, you're toast! Also, they are not the most comfortable cars. … read full review »

The most fun you can have driving a car

east coast native, cost-conscious, in favor of fun cars, a pet owner, car lover, prefer foreign cars, style-conscious, suburban dweller

Usually go for top of the line cars, have always had a BMW, SAAB or the like. But decided to try a Mini as I really liked the look of the car. Have been thrilled with the car, it is just so much fun to drive, the stick shift is so easy to use. I have very bad hands, pretty much disabled, but have absolutely no trouble using this car, I prefer it to our larger Lexus SUV. I find that it's just a fun car to drive and like to just take off and take drives in the country, not always knowing where I am going. Way cool

value conscious, east coast native, in favor of fun cars, interested in good gas mileage, married, prefer foreign cars

Fast, well built, and heavy (good for handling). Could get better mileage (I get 28.1 on the average - has a calculator built in). Has the best packages - heated seats, auto climate control, auto windshield wipers, back-up alarm. Get high safety ratings consistantly. Definitely would buy another… read full review »
