The MGM Grand Las Vegas is highly rated by the many Viewpoints reviewers who have written about it. “Wow” was how one reviewer put it. Business travelers loved the great location just a short walk away from the nightlife. The in-bathroom TV set was also popular, said one Viewpoint member “I could get the news while I shaved”. Easy access to the Monorail means you can move to other casinos without hassle. Some reviewers claimed that the rooms at the MGM Grand Casino were uncomfortable, one saying that their room was like a “small college dorm room”. My husband and I travel to Las Vegas at least 2 - 3 times a year and we only stay at two hotels: MGM Grand & The Mirage. MGM has very nice comfortable rooms with decor that varies from classic movies to more modern contemporary decor. The bathrooms are large and all marble with big fluffy towels....

The rooms are completely fab. They are very roomy and comfy. I have yet to get a room that didn't have a nice view.
The gaming floor is amazing. You can get lost walking around that place. Every time you walk around the floor you find some new treasure that you never expected to find.
The food is great. I mean you can pick up a quick and inexpensive dinner at Mcdonalds or you can find some very intimate where you can have a... review »
I stayed at the MGM Grand in March 2009 for a birthday celebration and it was a great experience! I had never stayed there before and I was happy with the choice my boyfriend and I made. We got a great deal and the room was very nice. HUGE bed, very comfy with a down comforter, etc. The room was very clean and the maid service came every day. THe casino is HUGE with lots of different games, tables, slots, etc. My favorite part though was the Lion Habitat. Very cool to see such big creatures up close. This hotel/csasino has everything. Clean spacious rooms. A food choice no matter of you want, just a quick hamburger, or pizza, or if you want a 5* dining experience. I never could understand the thinking of people who come the the worlds largest hotel, and then complain about it being too big. There are signs everywhere telling you how to get where you want to go. If you read them, it will make your visit much easier. I have never stayed in the West Wing, as I hear it has an open bathroom area, and that's a bit too modern for my taste. Plus is is dark and very small, although the rooms...
