Less than twelve hours after I had adopted my new kitten I was wheezing and my eyes were itchy and bloodshot. I called my doctor that day for an appointment to get some relief from this terrible allergic reaction. Her first suggestion was to get rid of the kitten. I explained that was not an option at this point and I really wanted to try some allery medications. She prescribed one. This relieved the itchy eyes, but not the wheezing. A second prescription relieved the wheezing, but not the itchy eyes. A third prescription relieved both, but only last about six weeks. Tired of paying for expensive prescription medications and doctor visits I headed for the drugstore. I described my symptoms to a pharmacist who suggested I try ZYRTEC. It's been two years since I've had any problmes breathing or suffered from itchy eyes and my cat sits in my lap at every possible opportunity. I can hold him close and give him the affection he deserves without having to pay any consequences.
