I first came across the MAC Make Up Remover Wipes at a MAC store. I went to the store to try on make up, and had to remove what was on my face before I started. They brought out the plastic pack, with the hard oval enclosure (brilliant for keeping the wipes moist from the first wipe to the last wipe in the package). Having sensitive skin I am careful about what I use on my face.  The make-up artist (all of the people who work at MAC stores are artists, make-up as well as a few traditional artists) promised me that the wipe was mild enough to protect my skin, but effective enough to remove the make up.

She was correct. I used several wipes that day all over my face, including my lips. I did not break out, and the bright vibrant colors I was playing with were removed completly before I ventured into a different look.

MAC describes their wipes as:

Oversized, luxurious, super-saturated with special M·A·C cleanser infused with protective vitamin E. Hydrates and nourishes highly efficiently. Extremely refreshing. Totally addictive. Slickly packed, re-sealable, ready to go!

I agree!

Wipes are $18 for 45 wipes or $26 for 100 wipes.

I would have no problem with the $26 for 100 wipes. If they stay moist, that would be a good deal. I don't like the overwhelming scent either. Makes my eyes sting and makes me wonder what is on my skin when I am done. I need to check these out.

Hey Patty

They are 18.00 for 45 wipes, far more expensive, but they Ponds wipes have such a strong fragrance that I am willing to pay more. They also sell them in bulk, 100 wipes for $26.00 a better bargain.

How do these stack up in price to drugstore wipes like Ponds? I pay around $5.50 for 30 facial wipes I think. Are these much more expensive?
