Mac Studio Fix is a great makeup solution

Comments about MAC Studio Moisture Fix SPF 15 50ml/1.7oz:

This product is simply amazing. It is a must have in any girl's makeup kit. Yes it is pricey, but it serves so many purposes and really does it's job. Ever wonder how despite wearing a ton of makeup celebrities have a dewy look to their skin? this product is how. It can create the effect that you aren't wearing a ton of makeup and eliminating the cakey look. It is also great at setting makeup including eyeshadow that will keep the products in place so much longer. It just locks in the makeup and makes it look that much better. It can even be used on hair to fix fly aways, and a little bit of frizz when you have nothing else in your purse. I bring this stuff with me everywhere. Plus it smells great too, so spritxing it on will never hurt.

Fix your face = p

Comments about MAC Studio Moisture Fix SPF 15 50ml/1.7oz:

Multi-Purpose Spray that is a dream!!!

Setting Make-up: When I overdo the powder foundation on my face, this actually cuts back the powder caked on look. It takes away the clay-ness look and flakes off my face and hydrates it as well. It's a nice setting/finishing spray to give yourself a dewy, natural, fresh finish. Also for pigments and eyeshadow when I want a liner.

I sometimes use this for when I know I'll be out and about from morning to night. My makeup (foundation, blush, eyeshadow) last twice as long. Eyeliner and lipstick is another story.

Moisturizer: With all the added supplements, it make it great for adding nutrients to the face. It might be a little pricy to use for a refreasher during hot summer days.

Hair: for hydration....WORKS AMAZING!

Package & Smell: Great smell. Locking cap so that when I take it with me it doesn't spray everywhere

HOWEVER: If you have oily skin, this will not help you! Unless you wear powder foundation, although it might still make you oily.

one of the best moisturizers I have ever used!

***Rave Review***:

This is a new product I have been raving about. I love the smell and the texture. Some people complain that this product doesn't last very long, but it has lasted me about 6 months. I have very sensitive skin and am very acne-prone to most moisturizers, but this moisturizer left my face feeling soft without being too emolient and didn't clog my pores. It actually helped some of my blemishes. I can't really describe the scent- it's kind of a minty refreshing smell. Usually I give a moisturizer a try and then I'm off looking for the next new thing for my skin, but this moisturizer has me coming back for more! I used this during the day since it has spf and my Clinique Moisturizing gel at night.

Glorified

Comments about MAC Studio Moisture Fix SPF 15 50ml/1.7oz:

Most people don't understand how this product works. It's not a makeup setting spray and it's not going to make your makeup last longer because that's not what it's for. It has no properties to do so. Fix Plus is honestly just glorified water in a spritz bottle. Yes, it smells nice and it freshens your face. But it's definitely not worth the price.

Though it's not a makeup setter, it can be used for the following purposes:

- A mixing medium. Just spray your brush with this a few times and you can use your eyeshadows and pigments wet. This will "foil" the product and give them high intensity color and a metallic sheen. You can also wet your eyeliner brush with this and transform your eyeshadow into eyeliner. Note: Can not be used with pressed matte eyesahdows, they will get ruined.

- Freshen your face during the day when you need a pick me up.

- Remove cakeyness when using powder on the face.

- Gives your skin a "dewy" finish.

I have used both Fix Plus and ordinary water for all of the above purposes and they work exactly the same. As far as mixing medium is concerned, you can just combine three parts water to one part glycerin to get the same effect. The glycerin is also a humectant and will hydrate the face when used lightly over your makeup. Try it out before splurging on this product.
