Most HelpfulLet me tell you, I have lots and lots of scars and dark spots on my face. It comes from my last pregnancy, my ethnic background (African American women are hyperpigmented), and all the picking and popping I do to my skin.
This is the ONLY powder/foundation that can cover those marks up. This stuff is GOOD. I highly recomend it to people like me, who get dark spots VERY easily. ...
read full review »In the past I always thought that spending more than $6.00 on foundation or makeup was absurd.
However when my cousin, who also happens to be my best friend began working in Macy's I noticed that the girl was even more beautiful looking than I'd ever seen her look before. Granted she's a gorgeous girl...I noticed she had done something different.
She was wearing MAC Cosmetics. I myself have never used MAC, only because I thought that $25.00 for any makeup was straight up insane. However after seeing her wearing MAC, price seemed to be no object. She was stunning to look at! Flawless, perfect, and...
read full review »I love Mac Studio Tech foundation. I use NW 20 it has medium buildable coverage. Very easy to apply I use the foundation sponge that comes with each compact. They can be washed with your facial cleanser and set out to dry. I usually do this once before replacing the sponge with another mac sponge (they have great sponges). I love how portable the compact is not messy like liquid foundations can be. I was very leery of using a cream foundation I always think that cream foundations will break me out. I am so glad that I gave studio tech a try. I have had no break outs at all from this foundation....
read full review »MAC Studio Fix Foundation: awesome. I've spent sooo much money looking for foundations to cover my acne scars, but I always wind up disappointed and even worse: broke. But this stuff is amazing. Just one "coat" or whatever will cover any and every flaw you want to hide. I was at my wits end and was willing to dish out the $32 if there was even a chance it would work well. I had heard good things about this brand and they were right. I don't need to search for foundation anymore. I've found what works and I'm sticking to it regardless of price. I don't mind splurging if it works.
I am a woman of color who kept looking for the right shade of foundation, and something that would feel light and yet cover any blemishes. For the longest time I used Dermablend...good coverage but very heavy on the face. MAC Foundation is truly the best. It is a bit pricey but it is well worth it. The shade is perfect for my skin tone. I did the free consulting thing at their store and was so amazed at how natural and even it looked with the cakey feeling. Now, I'll never go back to any other makeup than MAC.
MAC Studio Fix Foundation
I have oily skin that's very sensitive. I also have a skin tone that's extremely hard to match because depending on the day, it may have more red undertones and more yellow undertones another. This makeup covers my flaws and looks totally natural. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing a mask, it's not heavy at all. Great makeup and it's affordable!
