Love the coverage for dark dark circles

By

from Millington, TN

Comments about MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer:

Minus 2 points for:
1. Very slight texture showing through my foundation powder. Though I may not have the best moisturizer, but to me its good so?
I have to blend more after a little time.
2. Light creasing under the eye in lines. Have to blend more after a time.
About me: I have olive skin and dark eye circles. I've tried a gazillion concealers before spending a night reading reviews which brought me to this one. It lasts forever because I never have to use much.
I use a concealer brush and blend with a wedge sponge.

The Best Concealer

Comments about MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer:

This MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer will cover up even the worst imperfections on your skin. It stays put and doesn't come off because of my oily skin; it just gives me amazing coverage. I have also used this on mosquito bites on my legs! It works best when you apply it with a brush and dab until the concealer is blended. Say goodbye to skin imperfections ruining your day, just pick up this concealer!

Good product

By

from USA

Comments about MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer:

I bought the studio finish SPF concealer a shade lighter than my skin [nw40] for highlighting (and the longwear concealer in my color, nw45). Before I start my review of these specific products I must stress a few things: if you're going to be photographed stay away from products with SPF, and if you're getting matched in the store, go outside in natural lighting to see how it looks before you buy it.

Overall this product works as advertised, it covers up my imperfections and gives me a natural looking finish (not cakey at all). BUT I must say that this stuff doesn't last long at all, make sure you use a primer y'all. However, the product is good enough that even my concerns about its staying power don't heavily impact my review. MAC products come in enough shades that the palest and darkest consumers should have no problem getting matched.

In closing, I'd like to compare this to some of the other products I've used but they have tended to be drugstore stuff and can't really hold a light to the finish and feeling of MAC on your skin. If you're looking for a good mid-end concealer, this is a great brand, and if you're trying to decide between a cheaper option and a MAC concealer, I suggest shelling the few extra bucks if you can spare it. I have used some great drugstore products, but I don't think I can go back to using them after trying this.

Great product!!

Comments about MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer:

This is my favorite concealer. I have multiple concealers because I have severe dark circles under my eyes. I have had trouble finding products that do not make me look like I have too much make up on. This works great without looking like I piled on everything I have. I love it.

Gives a lot of coverage!

By

from Elk Grove, CA

Comments about MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer:

This concealer gives a lot of coverage for those who have a lot that needs to be covered. I have a quite a bit of post acne scars and this one does the trick. I have tried stick concealers, squeeze tube concealers, and liquid concealers but nothing ever covered as much as I'd liked. I've been using this product for a few months now switching over from Make Up Forever's squeeze tube concealer and it does actually give me a lot more coverage. Although, you should be very careful not to get too carried away with this product. It can get cakey so don't put in under yours eyes or around your mouth much. If you put it under your eyes it will get very cakey and noticeable. Ideal places to use this product are on the cheeks and forehead, where most people need covering. Don't forget to set the concealer with a powder after you are done applying your concealer and foundation. Personally I have found that if I put on my concealer after my foundation, I get a lot more coverage because if I choose to put on foundation after my concealer, it will most likely get rubbed off.

Was better when I didn't have a hint of wrinkles!

By

from Ashby, MA

Comments about MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer:

This is a great concealer, especially for someone like me who deals with dark undereye circles (hereditary).  I've used it for 6-7 years now and I've always really liked the texture and it's powerful covering.  But lately, after having a child and aging a bit :( I've noticed that the concealer shows little creases under my eyes.  It sort of accentuates them, if that makes sense.  So I'm not sure, I think I'm going to have to find something new for under my eyes.  But as a concealer elsewhere on my face, though I use it for that very rarely, I will continue to use this product.  The other great thing about this concealer, is that I have used it for the palst 6-7 years without wearing a foundation over it.  It blends really well, so I often just use this and some blush and I'm good to go.  The people at Mac are also really helpeful, so they will match your concealer perfectly.  The only reason I am not a fan of Mac is I typically like to use more all natural prodcuts on my face.

super coverage, a little drying

By

from Schenectady, NY

Comments about MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer:

I love this concealer.  Even though it looks like a little pot.  There is a LOT of product.  See how tall the pot is?  That is actually long deep the pot goes.  It's insane how much concealer is in there.  I've used my pot for over a year and I'm still no where NEAR hitting pan.  Like I'm not even 1/3 done with it.  This is a great concealer for hyperpigmentation spots from acne and pimples and things like that.  It does stay on very well and the SPF 35 is awesome.  Since I get hyperpigmentation from acne very easily, any sun light can make it darker therefore I always need SPF to prevent that.  It's very rare to find a concealer with that high of sun protection.

I use the shade NW25 and I'm usually a NC20-25.  Even though it is NW, it's still yellow and I'm asian and it matches.  I use this for spot concealing and also undereyes.  For undereyes, I have to make sure that the skin is hydrated because this concealer is a bit drying and you can dry up your undereye skin and the dead skin cells to gather up and look super cakey

Great m.a.c concealer

By

from Adelanto, CA

Comments about MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer:

I really like this m.a.c studio fix concealer, it works really good. I have been using it for a couple of years now and probably wont use anything else. It really does last all day long and does a great job on covering blemishes, dark spot, red spots, anything on the face that you need covered really. You can wear it alone or over your make up/foundation. They have plenty of colors to choose from to match your skin tone. If you put powder over it it really will last all day long with out having to re touch anything through out the day. The cost is a big high as is any m.a.c product but it does work. The package looks small, small round container like the eyeshadows but it really does last a long time, Ive been using it for years and probably have only ever bought two! you might want to get it a shade lighter then you skin tone so it will cover your blemishes completely and it will be good to go into the store to find your right shade. Good for all skin types.

Mac concealer-great for under eyes!

By

from Boston, MA

Comments about MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer:

I have really dark circles under my eyes, so although I don't wear any other make-up, I don't feel complete leaving my house without concealer under my eyes. This concealer is my favorite; it goes on really smoothly, and it super easy to blend with my fingers. They also have a TON of different shades, so I can change it depending on summer or winter (when I'm paler). The only downsides-I wish it had an SPF (you just have to make sure you're using a moisturizer with SPF instead), and it sometimes gets a little cakey later in the day ans settles into wrinkles. However, if it does this, it's easy to blend again with one swipe of your finger

MAC Studio Finish Concealer works for me and has been for years

By

from San Francisco, CA

Comments about MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer:

If your looking for a full coverage concealer to cover up discolouration, pimples, birthmarks, and tattoos: MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer is for you. I think this is best for normal to combination skin. Its really creamy and haves quite thick consistency, but it still blends nicely. It's highly pigmented so you don't need alot. The pot lasts a long time. I've had it for at least a couple of years and I haven't used even half of it. I have fairliy sever acne so I use it every time I apply makeup. It also works well applied with your finger or with a brush, a little goes such a long way and still provides great coverage. The texture is great and blends in under or over foundation. Also it covered not only the zits and bumps but also the severe redness caused by harsh topical drugs and scars. I usually apply it with a blending brush because I want it to look blended and not caked on. It works for me and has been for years.
