Very light pink color might not look good on everyone

gorgeous icy pastel pink, low shimmer, moisturizing, does not dry out lips, has nice shine, slight fragrance

VERY limited edition, hard to find, might be a tad too light for some

Despite my disappointment that the long awaited collaboration between MAC and the House of Emmanuel Ungaro ended up being a spring colored collectoin released in fall time, I did manage to find a couple of things worth having.

WHAT IS PURE ROSE LIPSTICK BY MAC FOR UNGARO LIKE?

One of the things from the Ungaro MAC collection that is pretty is the PURE ROSE lipstick. A lustre finish, PURE ROSE is sheer, but not too sheer. The texture is emollient and not drying like many lipsticks are to me.

The color is very light warm pink with light pink shimmer in it, and the surface finish looks shiny, but not like a lipgloss would be.

PURE ROSE LIPSTICK FROM THE UNGARO COLLECTION that MAC recently released is a lightly scented lipstick with vanilla but it is so slight that I barely notice it. There is no taste to it.

COMMENTS

This is a severely limted release from MAC so if you want it, you have to find MAC stores that have it, as according to my understanding, it is not available at all MAC counters.

I am including some photos for you to see including a swatch of PURE ROSE LIPSTICK on my skin.

I like Pure Rose. Although it is not a color that I am going to use constantly, it will be perfect for those days in winter when I want to dress with icy pastels and need a lipstick to set them off perfectly.

To darken, I will also use a darker lip liner feathered underneath PURE ROSE well. That gives another beautiful look.

If you are looking for a lovely light pink, check PURE ROSE out if you can find it, or order online before it is gone.

I am pleased with how well I can wear it without my lips peeling in sheets which is what happens with most other brands of lipsticks.
