I really love Mac Prep + Prime Skin Base. This primer really helps to ensure your makeup goes on really smooth making it look flawless and natural.I get alot of dry patches on my skin .When I have dry patches my makeup looks awful. When I use this primer it makes my whole face feel like satin.I have never used a primer that made my face this soft or smooth.I have a few fine lines around my eyes and this primer fills them in and helps my foundation glide right over them.I dont have to use alot of this primer because it is thick and kind of like mousse.I dont think its greasy like some primers.You do have to wait a few minutes for it to absorb but it absorbs good.This primer is never feels heavy or leaves your face greasy.My foundation last way longer than when I dont use the primer.The only thing I dont like about this primer is how sparkly it can be.The sparkle is not a big problem.My foundation covers alot of the sparkly stuff and it helps if you shake the bottle well before using it.

I can't believe I went through so many years of my life before I discovered face primer at the age of 25.  I tried a few different brands and finally settled on the MAC brand.  I've now been using it for about 6 years.  Every morning I put on my face moisturizer first, and then my primer goes on afterwards.  After putting on the primer, my skin feels silky smooth just like a baby's skin!  It feels like nothing is there and doesn't feel heavy at all.  However, it's able to make your skin more even toned, silky smooth so your makeup glides on easily and evenly, and makes your face less oily.  I put on my makeup every day at about 8am.  All I have to do is blot my face a few times throughout the day if it gets oily, and my makeup will still look flawless at the end of the day.  I've even taken a nap after work with my makeup on, and it was still flawless when I woke up!  The primer ensures that your makeup lasts a lot longer than if didn't use it.  It costs only about 25 bucks and lasts me about 3 months, even though I use it every single day.
