I do love this limited edition shadow from the Style Black collection, but the formula could be improved a bit (the black itself isn't that unique, and the glitter has a tendency to sprinkle down the face even with multiple primers in use). Nevertheless, it is beautiful and versatile.
This shadow can be applied bare/dry for a sheer layer, wet and/or with a shadow primer (such as Urban Decay Primer Potion) for a slightly bolder and longer-lasting look, or my personal pick: shadow primer plus a product such as MAC Greasestick (or my budget dupe find: Jordana's $2 twist-up eyeliner) for super pop and staying power.
The base of this product is a buildable smoky black eyeshadow, which isn't that unique in itself, but is thoroughly mixed with a fine and unusual mauveish-purplish glitter.
Can be used by nearly anyone - while great for rockers and those after a similarly bold look, can also be used to create a subtle and lovely depth for those into a more demure appearance.
