I've bought a couple of knockoff MAC pigments, and I find that some of the fakes are made better than others. The main difference between these and real MAC pigments I find is that they are less finely milled and the packaging is of lesser quality. If there is a color that you really love I would recommend splurging on the real MAC product, but fake MAC pigments can be decent shadows for a much cheaper price.
