**MAC Veluxe Pearl Eyeshadow - Shimmermoss** is a beautiful color that is very shimmery. I bought this eyeshadow to try out the color, since I love teal eyeshadows. This eyeshadow is a very shimmery, pretty teal color. When I used it for the first time, I had a hard time applying it. It did not go on smoothly, and the color did not show up very well. It is not like the other veluxe pearl shades. This one is much harder; I have to dig into the eyeshadow pot, scrape the eyeshadow, and then apply it to my eyelids. Then, the color still does not show up very well; it looks like a light dusted teal color when first applied, so I have to keep adding the eyeshadow to build up to the pretty, bright teal color. Other MAC eyeshadows have very high pigmentation, but Shimmermoss does not have that. I give this 3 stars because the color is very pretty, once you build it up onto the eyelid, but it is too hard to apply. I do not recommend this to anyone who is looking for a smooth, deep, bright teal eyeshadow color.

I actually got this color as a gift from my daughter. She described my eyes to the MAC gal and I couldn't be more impressed! This is an awesome shade to complement green eyes. I love that MAC shadows are highly pigmented so a little can go a long way. Also you can wear dry or wet-and comletely change the look of the color. Wet - produces a more shimmer tone and dry can be used as just a liner or all over. I love that the shadows come in an easy to open flip container so they stay pretty much contained within the container. I have to say-I've never been disappointed with any color I've gotten so far-they are all great!
