Most HelpfulThe Luxor Hotel and Casino is my number one place to stay on the Las Vegas strip for several reasons. I have traveled to Las Vegas several times for leisure, and also lived in the heart of Vegas for eight months. I know the town inside and out. The second time I ever went to Las Vegas...

Most HelpfulWe were two couples that visited Las Vegas in March 2008. This was the first visit for both of our wives. Both my friend and I called and asked for non-smoking rooms. This was about a month before we got there. The staff promised us non-smoking rooms. But when we got there, we were told if we wanted...
read full review »This review is regarding the Luxor hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. My fiance and I (now hubby) wanted to get married in Las Vegas. We were on a budget. We searched and searched for hotels on the internet for months. I found mixed reviews on the Luxor. Most of the reviews came from what I presumed to be rich snotty people that stated the Luxor was cheap and the decor was cheesy. I have been to Las Vegas a few times, and I know that you don't stay in your hotel room too much. There is too much to see in Las Vegas to be cooped up in a hotel room. On the flip side, I am a mother of four kids. I am always...

Our nightmare at the LUXOR HOTEL 2009
My husband and I went to Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas for our honeymoon on May 17th, 2009 and after waiting 13 years to get married, it was a trip we had dreamed about for all those years. The result was nothing shy of a nightmare. I had confirmed with Luxor three times prior to travel so there would be no glitches on arrival. After waiting a half hour in line we were told our room was not available. I had stressed to them my new husband has MS and had physical limitations and we required a spa tub when calling each time of confirmation for that...
read full review »The Luxor Hotel was definately a great hotel. It is shaped just like a Pyramid. I am one of those people who are afraid are heights and the fact that we stayed on the 18th floor was a bit scary for me. However, even from way up there it was a beautiful sight. The people at the hotel were very friendly and were willing to do anything needed to make sure that we were happy our entire stay. There were a bunch of different stores, restuarants and even a club inside the hotel. The first night there we picked up some McDonalds and ate there and gambled all night long. We awoke early that morning to go...
read full review »I have stayed at the Luxor a few times and have always had excellent experiences. This last time was the best--we had a problem in our room (the internet didn't work). After two frustrating days of them trying to fix the internet, I went to the front desk at 10pm in a not great mood. The EXTREMELY nice front desk person immediately referred me to the night manager, who offered to put us in a better room. We ended up with what I can only describe as the Presidential Suite! It was fantastic, and the rest of our experience was equally as good. The only downside is extremely slow check-in and...
read full review »We stayed at the Luxor through a vacation package we secured through America West Airlines. The package can be set-up to include airfair, accommodations, transfers and transportation to and from the airport in one clean payment. America West sets everything up for a first class vacation experience with a prepaid vacation package. I will always use this service to set up trips to their destination areas.
The Luxor is one of many beautiful casinos, but the rooms in the towers are fabulous. The room was a small apartment and you could have a party in the elaborate bathrooms. ...
