Lux WIN100 Heating & Cooling Programmable Outlet Thermostat Review

After finding this online, I ordered this for a remodeled garage bedroom. We had been using an electric heater as the only heat source during cold weather in spring, fall and winters. I had a heater with an adjustable temperature setting, but it still required turning it down or off when the room wasn't being used.

The WIN100 Heating & Cooling Programmable Outlet Thermostat, manufactured by Lux, saves both energy and a lot of hassles. The thermostat automatically reads the room temperature and controls the heater to preprogrammed settings.

I set to 58 degrees during the day when no one is using the room. It heats up to a comfortable 68 degrees before the alarm rings, then back down a few hours later.

It requires one outlet, can be programmed for daytime and night time hours for weekdays and weekends separately. 

The low cost paid for itself the first month. Used for a year with no complaints.
