Diapers are expensive.  my husband and I stay away from high-priced brand names as much as we can.  We've used store-brand, but they are not always great.  When our local supermarket changed their store-brand to a realy low-quality diaper, we decided to try Luvs since it was still pretty affordable. — They are working out great!  My 11-month-old has not leaked through one yet.  They hug her bottom and even hold moisture through the night until morning!  Overall we are pleased with them.  They are soft and comfortable and it's also easy to tell when… read full review »

I was able to get a SUPER price (2 mega packs for $7= $20+ value) on these at Target a month before my baby boy was born. I am a mother of 2 girls ages 5 and 3, and had never tried this brand with either of them (pretty much stuck with Pampers). Well since they both have the same manufacuter I thought I would give these a shot for home use. They are nearly the same diaper as Pampers baby-dri but with a cheaper outer cover and tabs. Luvs has changed it's fit.  It has added "Beary stretchy" improved fit.  They work very well.  I have been using them for several months now and will not use anything else.  The only time I had a leak was when my son was ready to move up to the next size!!!  Right now I won't use anything else.  — Until they changed this fit I did not like them at all I received a few different size packages as shower gifts and was not impressed.  They store was out of what I was using and the only diaper in the size I had needed was Luvs so I bought them with an… read full review »

I *LOVE* Luvs!!!!!  I buy them for my 2nd child, a boy, who is now 2 1/2 years old.  I have bought the name brands (Huggies & Pampers) before and yes, they work great, but they are so darn expensive.  I'm on a tight budget and just can't pay those prices.   The store brands (publix,kroger,walmart,target) never worked for him.  They leaked really bad.  So, I thought I'd try LUVS.  THey are kinda inbetween as far as quality & price.  I"m not saying they are the best & are pefect......but, they work great for my boy.  No leaks, no wet… read full review »

I am a 49yr old male and a first time dad, so while this is for everyone I must input that in a previous marriage I had a boy & two girls all adopted. From birth to about 6months old and that's what give me experience on diapers and wipes. Right now my 2yr old son is about to learn the potty and I have to admit the Luvs that I used held more, kept him dryer through the night better and the wipes were much softer and no alcohol, that's what you want to stay away from, if you buy wipes in the bigger bags, break them down into sizes that fit the flip top boxes that they often come in. I have used Pampers and Huggies before trying Luvs.  I am very impressed with the quality and durability of Luv's diapers.  The price is better than Pampers or Huggies and the quality is as good as either if not better.  My daughter was experiencing a slight rash near her belly with both Huggies and Pampers.  This has cleared up when I switched to Luvs.  Also, she experiences fewer wet beds at night with Luvs than with either Pampers or Huggies - comparing similar sizes (size 4).  Luvs are a better fit for my daughter and the prints are just as cute (Blue's… read full review »

I have 3 children, with my oldest--the only thing we could use was Pampers without having breakouts.   With my second, we tried the mix and ended up using the Wal-Mart cheap brand.  They seemed to work okay, but I wasn't totally pleased.  Our second and third are 13 1/2 months apart so finances were definately a consideration for us with 2 children in diapers.  The cheap ones weren't cutting it for the youngest, so a friend of mine told me to try Luvs.  I will admit that the ones I tried with my first and second didn't have any stretch and they were chubby babies… read full review »

We are on our fourth child and after trying most of the diapers out there with our first child, we found luvs and stuck with them.  We usually buy in bulk so we don't have to run out to the store with all the kids, so we purchase about 3 -4 boxes at a time.  We have only had one problem with them because we must have gotten a bad batch...the tabs seperated from the diaper when you tried to put them on.  I wrote a letter to Luvs and then called and spoke with a customer service representative.  Because of the problem we had, they sent free coupons for all of the… read full review »

I thought these would be great when I first bought them... they seemed to hold in the messes well, until I put my son to sleep! Every single night he would wet through the diapers and wind up screaming bloody murder because him, his clothes, and his bedding were soaked!!!! I thought they were nice during the day becuase they are thinnner than most so they would fit under his clothes better, but that thinness translated into messes at bedtime!!!! I use Luvs diapers because they are just as good as some of the other leading brands but the price of them is way better!! It's like buying the expensive diapers on a big sale!! I used them for both of my kids one of which is going to be six and the other is two...and I will continue to use them with my third child that is on the way. The only downfall to Luvs diapers is that you do not get coupons for them in the mail or the newspaper like you do some of the more expensive diapers.
