Our granddaugher is now mostly potty trained but for long trips orr when her mama takes her to see her father abroad diapers are a Godsend.

We usually stick to the Target brand ( see other review) or Pampers when those aren't available. This was an impulse buy to see if there was any thing better out there. The ones we bought had a blue gel liner that is supposed to prevent leaking. What it did do was give the little pixie a horrible rash. She had never had a rash before and it sent us all scrambling to find something to soothe her with. We ended up using aloe while my wife ran to the store to get some diaper rash cream (other review).

Never again. I'm sure it won't do this to all children, as Luvs would be out of business, but to our little one it was a catastrophe. We promptly bought her the usual brand and she has never had a rash since. We suspect it was the chemicals in the blue liner but, of course, can't be completely sure.

OMG, I’m so sorry to hear about your granddaughter’s rash. I work for Luvs and as a mom of 2 I can assure you the dye is completely safe for baby's skin. The blue lining was added to show how the diaper is designed to prevent leaks -- there are no chemicals or new ingredients added to the diapers. We would love to hear more about your experience, please call us at 1-866-586-5654. Thx, Nat
